Time for another update!
We fixed the issues with sending invites and reminders, and now you can edit when they get sent out even after creating the event! Also, this let us implement a commonly requested feature: you can now re-send invites anytime you want by setting "Send Invites When" to today.

PermalinkHappy Friday Everyone!

2) For BSA troops, we added the Whittling Chip and 50 Miler Award to the list of awards you can sync via TurboNET

4) Announcements on the dashboard are no formatted nicely to match the way they look in the editor.
Have a great weekend!
PermalinkGood morning. We just released a few improvements:
1) The dashboard now focuses on current level award and recent awards
2) Spencer added a new training importer
3) Users of the beta inbox can reply directly to emails
4) Incomplete training trackers no longer show expiration dates
5) Troops using the beta inbox feature can now send emails directly to their mailboxes using email clients like Outlook, Gmail, etc.
Happy Thursday!
Over the last couple of days we've released a number of bug fixes:
1) The bulk privileges screen now improves users who are not assigned to a patrol
2) In certain cases event schedules weren't appearing on calendars. This is fixed.
3) Some troop documents were not visible to some users. This is fixed.
4) The achievements filter was behaving inconsistently. This is fixed.
5) Award types in the achievements filter are now sorted by name.
We have also officially began working on the next version of the TroopTrack UI. This project has the code name "Samwise" and we will be posting screenshots, videos, etc. on community.trooptrack.com. The main changes you will see are:
1) Modernization of the TroopTrack user interface. It will have a more modern look and feel.
2) It will be super fast. For the techies out there, we will be moving from a server-side HTML architecture powered by Ruby on Rails to a client-side UI built in React with Typescript backed by an API powered by Ruby on Rails.
3) We are replacing the thick menu header with a "drawer" on the side. This will give you more vertical space and looks really nice.
4) Support for some offline capabilities. No internet? So what! Certain read-only pages will keep working anyway.
We're very excited about this and will keep you posted.

PermalinkGood morning everyone!
A few things we've been working on over the past several weeks:
1. A few enhancements to our Users importer.
2. Announcements are now scoped to den/patrol.
3. We've added some new options for how you format your newsletters. Including custom announcements being on their own row.
4. Added a new tab to Manage > Members > Merit Badge Counselors to display all MBs without a counselor.
5. TONs of small bug fixes and performance enhancements.
6. Cub Scout awards are still a work in progress. They should default to 2016 awards now.
7. Copy event feature is now available. From the Details & RSVP page, you can copy an existing event into a new event with everything except the attachment.
8. Made some enhancements to the way Detailed Reports were displaying information.
9. If you tried the LDS Beta feature and went back to the other type, there was some lingering terminology (venturing) in places. That's fixed.
10. Made some enhancements to helpdesk reports so the helpdesk can better help you.
Biggest item still on the agenda is finishing out the Cub Scout awards work.
Reminder: The helpdesk will be closed on Fridays during the summer.
Thank you and have a great day!
PermalinkGood morning everyone!
A few quick updates:
1. When the helpdesk restores deleted users, it now also returns their participation information.
2. Email Advancement Reports are functional again.
3. Outside participation without a date is now viewable for past events and prevented for future events.
4. When you apply a Merit Badge to a rank, it now shows the percentage complete of the merit badge on the rank.
5. You can now restore profile avatar pictures to the default outline, upload new pictures, and remove old ones.
6. Some awards showed 0% complete even with a "completed on" date. We have new tools to identify them, a fix in place to prevent further issues with this, and will be running a program overnight to update any already affected by this.
Thanks and have a great day!
